    MBC Youth Fellowship

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

The Memorial Baptist Church Baptist Youth Fellowship (Youth Group) is made up of youth from middle school until graduation from high school. The group consists of church members and non-church members. Church membership by the youth or their family is not required; we encourage the youth to bring their friends.

Mission Statement of the MBC Youth Fellowship

We are committed to provide a safe place which invites youth to live "God-fashioned lives" and to grow as followers of Jesus Christ in their various social, educational, and family lives. We are committed to learning, serving, fellowship and being good witnesses by our example of our daily walk with the Lord.

    Our Youth Ministry Program:

Junior/Senior Sunday School takes place from September to May. Although Sunday School is not officially a part of Youth Group, we strongly encourage the youth to attend. Lessons or activities from Sunday School carry through some youth group sessions and should not be missed.

Youth Fellowship (Youth Group) normally meets on Sundays following the Worship Service until around 3PM (sometimes later). We meet year round. We do not usually meet on holiday weekends or Mother's and Father's Day so the youth can spend time with their families.

We participate in various activities. Some of our activities are game days, bowling, fishing, water games, movies, attending Camp Berea for the "Deep Freeze" weekend, progressive dinners, field trips, service projects, and other various activities. We also like to eat. We believe Pizza is one of the main food groups.

Youth Leaders: Skip Faulkner (Youth Minister), Carol Faulkner, Suzanne Medeiros, Travis Medeiros, Sue Smith, and David Hughes. Caitlin Peters serves as a student youth leader.

For more information please contact the Youth Minister, Mr. Joseph "Skip" Faulkner, through the church office.
